Transportation

The Eawag campus in Dübendorf is pretty well connected to Zurich Airport, Zurich Main Train Station, and Zurich Main Bus Station.

If you use public transport, make sure you purchase/activate your ticket before you board and/or before the departure time. Ticket machines are available at many stations, allowing card payments.

For electronic tickets and connection search, you can use the official mobile app of the SBB company.

Train / Bus

From Zurich Main Station (HB):
- S-trains (S3, S9, S12) to Stettbach.
From Stettbach:
- 20-minute walk (see map)
- Tram No. 12 to "Am Ring"
- Bus No. 760 to "Empa".

The Bus Main Station is located next to the Zurich Main Station.

Airplane

From Zurich Airport:
- Tram No. 12 to "Neugut" or "Am Ring"
- about 20 minutes driving time.

Car

Motorway A1, exit Dübendorf, to the right towards Dübendorf, 300 meters after the major crossing turn left into the Eawag-Empa
